Mucosolvan 30 mg/5 mL Cough Syrup is an expectorant that provides effective relief from cough with mucus, also known as a productive cough, a wet cough, or a chesty cough. Each 5 ml contains 30mg Ambroxol hydrochloride which enhances pulmonary surfactant production and stimulates ciliary activity, which results in increased mucus flow. It helps the body get rid of excess phlegm by making it thinner and more liquid. Mucosolvan Syrup for wet cough comes with a three-way action that loosens the phlegm, clears the airways, and protects against new mucus forming. Illnesses such as a respiratory tract infection, smoking or air pollution can cause the phlegm in the airways to become too thick and sticky so that it clogs up the airways.
