Rofenac D dispersible tablets contains an active ingredient of 50mg diclofenac free acid which belongs to Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). They have anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic and analgesic property which helps to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions affecting the joints, muscles and tendons including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout (painful inflammation of the joints especially in the feet and hands), ankylosing spondylitis (form of spinal arthritis), Backache, sprains and strains, soft tissue sports injuries, frozen shoulder, dislocations and fractures, conditions affecting the tendons for example, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis. Diclofenac is an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which is responsible for prostaglandin synthesis, an integral part of the pain and inflammation pathway. Rofenac D tablets are formulated as dispersible tablets that easily disintegrate in water or other liquid. Rofenac D 50mg tablets are also used to treat pain and inflammation associated with dental and minor surgery.

• Use as prescribed by your Physician only
• Take Rofenac D by mouth. Rofenac D tablet should be dispersed in water before taking. Take the tables with or after food.
• For adults: 75mg to 150 mg daily in two or three divided doses. The number of tablets which you take will depend on the strength the doctor has given you. These tablets are not suitable for children aged under 12.
• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton
• Do not store above 25°C. Keep the tablets in their original pack
• Recommended for adults and adolescents above 14 years of age
• General dosage: The recommended starting dose is 100 mg to 150 mg each day
• Do not exceed more than 150mg per day or as directed.
