Spedifen 600 mg sachets belong to a group of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. They can be used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis (including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis), arthritis of the spine, ankylosing spondylitis, swollen joints, frozen shoulder, bursitis, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, lower back pain, sprains and strains. Spedifen can also be used to treat other painful conditions such as toothache, pain after operations, period pain and headache, including migraine. The effect of Spedifen is due to an inhibition of prostaglandins. They can cause pain, fever and inflammation. If no prostaglandins are produced, pain, fever and inflammation disappear. The actual causes of pain, such as inflammatory processes, are combated on the spot.

Suggested dosage for adults and children over 12 years is one sachet two to three times daily, dissolved in water and consumed immediately. Not recommended for children under 12. Consult a doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, on a low-salt diet, or with any medical condition, and inform them of all medications and supplements to ensure safe treatment and avoid interactions.
