This brightening serum contains key ingredients like a high concentration of purified Alpha-Arbutin 2% with hydrolysed sodium hyaluronate. Purified alpha-arbutin works to target dark spots and uneven skin tone. Meanwhile, hyaluronic acid helps to support product absorption into the skin. Alpha arbutin is extremely sensitive to degradation in the presence of water if the pH of the formulation is not ideal. The pH of this formula is 4.50-5.50, which has been shown to be the most suitable pH to minimise degradation of alpha arbutin. Alpha arbutin products tend to change colour when exposed to sunlight or increased temperature. This is a natural occurrence.
