Description:

Aerius 0.5mg/mL Syrup is a second-generation antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms. It is formulated to provide long-lasting relief from conditions like hay fever (allergic rhinitis) and urticaria (hives).

Indications:

• Relieves sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, and itchy or watery eyes.

• Alleviates symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) by reducing itching and rash size.

• Provides 24-hour non-drowsy allergy relief.

How It Works:

Aerius contains desloratadine, which blocks histamine receptors to prevent allergic reactions. Unlike first-generation antihistamines, it does not cause drowsiness and starts working within 30 minutes of intake.

Dosage & Administration:

• Children (1-5 years old): 2.5mL once daily

• Children (6-11 years old): 5mL once daily

• Adults & Adolescents (12+ years): 10mL once daily

• Can be taken with or without food.

Warnings & Precautions:

• Consult a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease.

• Avoid use if allergic to desloratadine or any ingredients in the syrup.

• Safe for children over 1 year old, but not recommended for infants.

• If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before use.
