Description
Cataflam coated tablets contain an active ingredient, diclofenac potassium 50mg which belongs to a group of non-steroidal inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs reduce pain and inflammation associated with joint, muscle or tendon pain; attacks of gout; pain and swelling caused after surgery; sprains, strains and other injuries; menstrual pain in periods; painful ear, nose and throat infections; and migraine attacks. Diclofenac potassium is indicated for short-term treatment for the relief of acute pain & swelling, and it has no effect on the causes of inflammation.

How to Use
- Use only as prescribed by your Doctor only.
- Take Cataflam by mouth. Swallow the tablets whole with a drink and before a meal or on an empty stomach. Do not crush, chew or suck the tablets.
- Recommended for adults and adolescents above 14 years of age.
- General dosage: The recommended starting dose is 100 mg to 150 mg each day.
- Do not exceed more than 150mg per day or as directed.
- For painful periods, the recommended starting dose is 50 mg to 100 mg as soon as you feel the first symptoms or as directed.
- CAUTION: Please consult your Doctor before using this medication in case of a history of kidney, liver, or heart diseases, pregnancy or any other pre-existing conditions. It is always best to discuss the medications or supplements you consume with your Doctor.
