Description
Gynera Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive that contains estradiol and gestodene, which serve to prevent pregnancy through multiple mechanisms. It primarily suppresses ovulation by inhibiting the release of eggs from the ovaries, thereby eliminating the possibility of fertilization. Additionally, Gynera thickens the cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to navigate through the cervix to the uterus. Furthermore, it alters the uterine lining (endometrium), reducing receptivity to a fertilized egg and consequently decreasing the likelihood of successful implantation. Overall, Gynera functions effectively as a contraceptive by inhibiting ovulation, thickening cervical mucus, and modifying the uterine environment to discourage pregnancy when taken correctly.
